Making sure that your sixteenth notes are accurate and your accents are consistent is of the utmost importance in being able to clearly discern and master polymetric relationships.

Being able to move an accent to any position in the 16th note field will allow for more rhythmic choices. Make sure you can accurately and comfortably accent every partial of the 16th note subdivision.
