About Yoni:

Yoni Madar is an independent artist who creates and writes his own music. Born in Israel, he’s a self-taught player, producer & composer who’s mastered four different instruments. Before the age of fourteen, Madar learned to play drums, guitar, bass and piano, becoming fluent very quickly. Currently has thousands of followers on his You Tube page. Per Knudtson, Yoni Madar has mastered and utilizes Gordy’s ‘Open Close’ technique, in a most musical way.

 

About Ramon:

Ramon started his musical studies drums at 12 soon becoming a professional drummer working in many musical styles.

From 1992 to 2006 played with the singer/composer and bossa nova icon Johnny Alf in tours and recordings.

In 1998 released with the drummer Alexandre Cunha the Brazilian Duet´s video – Ultrapassando Limites (Surpassing Limits)

His 1st solo album, Boyya (Mix House), released in the year 2000 has some special participations of heavy weights like Hemeto Paschoal, Mané Silveira, Sizão Machado among others. In 2003 Ramon releases, with the bassist Gilberto de Syllos the book “Bateria e Contrabaixo na Música Brasileira” – Drums and bass in Brazilian Music – by the Lumiar publishing company and, recently on a second print by the Irmãos Vitale.

 

About Alex:

Alex Cohen was born and raised in New York City and began his studies at the world-renowned Drummer's Collective at age 12, where he studied with Fred Klatz, Jason Gianni, Mike Clark, and Dave Weckl. 

At 14, Alex started playing professionally in NYC clubs and later was accepted to New York University for Jazz Studies. 

He graduated Cum Laude and proceeded to embark on the life of a freelance musician.  

His first book, Ultimate Progressive Drumming, published on Hudson Music, has garnered praise from drummers ranging from Jason Bittner to Charley Drayton for its boundary-pushing approach.
