Is this a beginner course or an advanced course?

ANSWER:

I think almost everyone is capable of the material if they are ready to work hard.

That being said, I would say this is a somewhat advanced course.

There are exercises in the course that are accessible to many drummers, and there are exercises that challenge some of the most advanced drummers I know. 

Remember - discipline, focus, patience, and dedication are what will get you through the super challenging sections.

Is this an online course or a book?

ANSWER:

The DrumMantra3030 is an online course based on my book, The Foundational Series. 

You will receive a pdf of each day's exercises. At the end of the course you will have access to 200 downloadable pages!

QUESTION:

When I sign up, do I have to start on the day the course begins?

ANSWER:

No.

The daily lessons will begin to be delivered at the start of the course and will continue every day for 30 days. After that, the course is yours forever.  You can start whenever is right for you, 

Once you begin, just make sure to work your way through the material chronologically. (I highly recommend a daily practice once you begin.)

What do I need to do this course?

ANSWER:

You need

• sticks
• a practice pad or snare
• a bass drum pad or bass drum
• an internet connection
• something to watch the videos on (phone, tablet, laptop)
• at least a half an hour a day of undisturbed time for 30 days.

QUESTION:

Do I need The Foundational Series Book to do the course?

ANSWER:
No. Although the course pulls from the book, all of the written exercises are part of the videos. (The 3030 does reference the Foundational Series book, so if you do have the book, you can use it.)

QUESTION: 

Do I need to know how to read music to do this course?

ANSWER:

Reading will make the course a little more accessible. However, if you can't read very well I believe, with dedication and hard work,  you will begin to understand the note values and rhythmic patterns from some of the sections.
